On Saturday 12th January the festival committee volunteers got together at Ovolo to celebrate and review all the hard work that had gone into the Sandy Bay Mini festival sponsored by Segantii Capital Management.

This year the club made a charity donation from the money raised at the festival cake stalls and money that would have been spent on contact medals to Lao Rugby. Peter Glanville Mini Chair presented a cheque to Clive Hammond for $15,296 HKD, to the Lao Rugby Federation.

There are now over 3500 playing rugby in Lao as it proves to be a growing sport, thanks to the donations of kit there are many playing and running around in kit from many of the large clubs in Hong Kong - keep up the donations!

Please continue to donate kit, bring any boots, shorts, playing tops down to the clubhouse or to the Valley Festival at Sandy Bay on Sunday 24th February where there will be another collection drive.
