Herbert Smith Freehills HKU Sandy Bay are back into the action tomorrow with the first Premiership clash of 2019 against Kowloon at King's Park.
The first round clash at the same venue resulted into a nail-biting 16-13 win to the Bay but they had to hold on for a torrid final 5 minute surge by Kowloon who hammered the line and thought they had scored after the final whistle.
Loon reaked revenge in the Kerry Cup final and so it's one apiece to the 5th and 6th place Premiership clubs, both looking for form and consistency.
Coach Wilkinson has named a famliar looking starting XV and, for ths first time this season, has all 32 Prem squad players injury-free and available.
Before the break, Sandy Bay lodged their most impressive performance of the season with a convincing 48-28 victory over 2017/18 league winners, USRC Tigers. Bay fans will be hoping that their team can find and retain that form for the remainder of the season as the league gets down to the nitty gritty of nutting out the top four semi-finalists.
