Last seasons grand finalists traded blows for 80 minutes in the Game of the Week and it looked like Scottish had done enough to eek out a home victory but the belief and the fight was strong in the Bay City Rollers who turned Scottish possession over in their own 22 before rumbling down field in the 82nd minute.

Slatem featured multiple times in the last play and eventually loomed up on the outside of big Mark Prior who'd broken the last line of defence and dotted down out wide to retake a 1 point lead. George Humphrey's converted from out wide to seal a terrific 37-34 victory and a very five critical five competition points.
