U14 Boys continue their wins into the 10's Championships

Hi all, well done to everyone who took part today in the 10s tournaments. The A team start things off at KGV this morning with a comprehensive win over Sai Kung. This was followed up by a close game with football club. After a good start, a lack lustre performance in the second half saw the team on the verge of defeat, however they pulled themselves together to finish with a draw. The boys topped the group and played Valley in the final. After a tough match the boys came through well winning 33-17 and thus champions of the first 10s competition. Well done all! A particularly pleasing result given that we had a few boys away.

The B team had a much tougher afternoon with a few boys pulling out late. They battled hard and scored a few good tries but were unable to notch a victory. They will dust themselves down and have another go in a few weeks times.
On a side note, the U13s team won their first 15 a side match 35-0 over football club 2!

Training this week is Thursday 6-730pm @ Aberdeen Astro. Please make an effort to attend.
After this we take a break for Chinese New Year and resume practice again on Sunday 2nd February 11-1230pm @ Sandy Bay.
