The Vikings are back!
After a long and challenging 2018/19 season, the goal was simple: increase squad numbers and create depth and quality within the team.
Under head coach Thierry Barot and newly appointed vikings assistant coach Ian Wilson, training and recruitment started early in July. Along with the help from Brett Wilkinson and the rest of the Premiership coaching staff, the vikings spent the last three months training hard and building up to the start of the season. With the vikings squad having an average age of 24 and 3 players under the age of 20, we are finally able to commit a long term investment into the players and squad.
With Jonathan Cimmerbeck, for the first time, leading the noticeably French vikings squad, alongside notorious Canadian Jacob Rumball. The Vikings squad finally looks like a force to be reckoned with.
