I am delighted to let you know that after an intense interview process together with the HKRU, we have appointed a new General Manager for the club, John Byrne.

John has been a member of the HKUSB family(and the former HKCC Rugby) for 12 years, has previously played, coached, and managed one of the senior teams and is a mini-parent and coach. Needless to say, John is familiar with the club and is very excited about this new role and continuing the development of the club.

I would ask that you all give John, together with Eleanor and all our volunteers your full support to help you improve and develop your club. In these challenging times we need your support, more than ever, to make Sandy Bay family the best rugby club in HK. So make sure to sign up for one of our volunteering categories, or two, for the new season.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Grant Beuzeval for his time at the club and wish him all the best for the future.
