Welcome to the U8 season

Like all the other mini's teams, the U8s were back last Sunday to kick off the season. There were lots of familiar faces plus some new ones too.

The training plan focused on all the basics to get the kids back in the groove which included;

• Warm up
• Activity 1 - Evasion skills using the Zookeepers and animals game with socks for animal tails!
• Activity 2 - Passing and catching skills (in both stationary and moving positions)
• Activity 3 - Defence skills using the Aeroplanes drill combined with the attacking team learning how to be vocal by calling for the ball
• Activity 4 - Games in Festival Game format
