Under grey skies in Happy Valley, the U16s recorded a famous victory to conclude an emotional week. Sporting black arm bands and observing a minute's silence in honour of former age group coach Mark Hargraves, our boys came out full of fizz and powered to an early advantage. Club fought back to a narrow half-time lead. After the break we took back the initiative, played some tough D and eventually ran in two flowing team tries to secure the W. A well deserved victory for the boys and a fitting way to close the decade and pay tribute to a great Sandy Bay man.
