Weather Advice

Rain - we just get a little wet but it's at the discretion of the Head Coach.

T3 Training is ON in a T3 or Amber rain - we will just get a little wet.

T8 Training is OFF in a T8 or a T8 is due to be raised during training.

BLACK or RED rain warning - Training is OFF

Thunderstorm warnings are not regionally specific, so your area may not be affected. Therefore we ask everyone to be vigilant and adapt to the situation, all training/activities must stop if visible lightning and thunder are present around your pitch. LCSD will not close their pitches with the thunderstorm warning hoisted.

Pollution Advice

We take guidance from EPD and Air Quality Health Index website in relation to the nearest appropriate Air Pollution Index (API) station

Outdoor sports will be modified so that activities are appropriate to the air pollution warnings

(AQHI)>7 Reduce physical exertion intensity and duration of activities at a moderate level

(AQHI)>8 Reduce to the minimum outdoor physical exertion and reduce to the minimum the time of staying outdoors.

(AQHI)>10 Move all activities indoors where possible otherwise cancel
