Many exciting things happening this year as our goal is to Grow as a club. We are delighted to introduce our Club Captain for this season to lead us to achieve that together.

Our Club Captain this season for Sandy Bay RFC is Ash Hyde. He will be the person that you can contact as a performance athlete, social club member, parent, coach, or any roles you may have within the club. Ash has been with Sandy Bay for the past years, he will help to create an atmosphere and club culture to encourage members to be involved with social and club events, as well as welcoming new members to the club.

Let's hear it from Ash:

"I am honored to have been appointed as the Club Captain for Sandy Bay this upcoming season. Having been with the club over the past 5 years, I have seen the growth and development of our senior sides firsthand. As Club Captain, my focus will be on improving the performance of all senior grades, both men and women, and ensuring that we continue to build a culture of inclusiveness and support for all players.

I believe that a successful club is one that not only performs well on the field, but also takes care of its players off the field. As such, I will be working closely with the coaching staff and management to ensure that player welfare and assistance is a top priority for the club.

I am excited to take on this new role and look forward to working with all members of the Sandy Bay community to continue to build a strong and successful club."
