The annual end of season bash for parents of Mini and Youth players hit all the high notes once more

It is a celebration of what has been achieved and a chance to recognise some of those who have worked so hard to support the club.

By Karen Carmichael,

A huge amount of fun was had at the No Limits party at Oola on Saturday night.

Over 175 parents, dressed in club colours, enjoyed the free flow, the excellent all you can eat buffet and dancing to the band playing classics from the 80s and 90s. The Lamma ladies did the island proud by leading the way with the dancing, always the first up to get the rest of the party started!

The No Limits party is a chance for parents to have some fun after investing so much time and effort in their children throughout the season. It is a celebration of what has been achieved and a chance to recognise some of those who have worked so hard to support the club.

The awards this year went to:

  • Maggie Suttie – Volunteer of the Year
  • Richard Darracott – Team Manager of the Year
  • JJ Bull – Minis Contact Coach of the Year
  • James Polson – Minis Non-Contact Coach of the Year
  • Silvan Colani – Best Tourist of the Year

Special recognition was given to the outgoing Chairman Iain Carmichael and his wife Karen for their contributions to the club over the last 15 years, as they will be leaving to return to the UK in the summer.

A huge thank you must go to Vanessa, Jenny, Ludo, Ralph, Wika for their organization of such a fantastic event and to Jo, Tain, Jen and Susie for all their help on the night.
