As we enter the business end of the 2019 Saxo Capital Markets Premiership , Herbert Smith Freehills HKU Sandy Bay take on HK Scottish at Kings Park Sports Ground tonight at 7.30pm.
The last encounter between the two sides was an epic: a sensational 25-24 comeback win for Brett Wilkinson's side in a match where Sandy Bay trailed 24-6 at the 50 minute mark.
In the context of the season, tonight's match is critical. Sandy Bay sit a mere 4 points below Tigers in the table with a game in hand. Victory tonight would see the Bay close the gap at fourth place and soar into play-off contention.
Brett Wilkinson names an unchanged pack from last weekend's 29-17 win against Tigers. There is a slight re-shuffle in the backs with Gus Cameron replacing Nik Cumming at fly-half and Jack Metters switching from wing to full back. There is also a start for 'roadrunner' Gareth Kallel, who has been rewarded for a solid performance from the bench against Tigers.
This should be an intense match with much at stake.
Come along and support the Bay and enjoy some Tuesday night footy.
Kick off 7.30 at King Park Sports Ground.
