Herbert Smith Freehills HKU Sandy Bay will approach their final Challenge Trophy match against USRC Tigers with all guns blazing.

Up for grabs, is a possible 3rd place finish in the pre-season tournament (if other results go their way) but the big focus is on building and carrying momentum into the continuation of Saxo Markets Premiership which restarts following the November test window.

With that in mind, Assistant Coach Marno Meyer (with Head Coach Brett Wilkinson away with the national squad) will need to select from a squad missing Tom and Alex McQueen, who are in Korea at the Asia Men's Olympic Sevens Qualifiers, and Liam Slatem, Alex Post, Mark Prior and Guy Spanton who are in tour in Spain and Belgium with the National Men's XV's squad.
