Champions of Hong Kong!
Unbeaten in the league and off a tough semi-final against a DB Pirates, Sandy Bay U14B were up against a committed Sai Kung Stingrays in the U14 Premier League Grand Championship Final.

The boy started fast, full of bite and fizz, starving Sai Kung of possession and pushing the tempo. The big boys dominated, creating space for the backs to cut loose. Ethan Agren crashed over early from close range and we were on our way.

Time and time again, the pods of Sandy Bay bullied across the gain line before moving quick ball wide. Sai Kung were run ragged. Five first half tries saw us up 33-0 at the break.

Sai Kung played on gamely, scoring two second half tries but the damage had been done. In the end, Sandy Bay ran out easy winners 45-10, in a great birthday present for Kyran Lacy. Does it get any better than celebrating happy 13 by winning a cup final!

A second from Agren, two from Michael Brewster and singles from Theo Mag, Ollie Thomas and Xi Ziang Lim completed the rout - Jono Adams and Noe Tsang going a stylish combined five for seven in conversions.
