Last match of the day. Since we played VF last they added 7-8 girls from SCAA Causeway Bay, so for sure not the same team we beat 33-0 on the first match day. The girls were ready for this and we were saved the best for last.
Jemima Keys got us off to a good start with a try followed by 2 tries from Anna Chandler and Rochelle Ng. Valley started to fit back and got one try back followed by a conversion. 15-7 and we were only halfway through the match. We were close making tries 2-3 time but it took a while before we after a beautiful teamplay sealed the win with a try by Sierra Corcoran followed by a conversion by Anna Chandler. Final result 22-7. I would like to congratulate Hanna Rumble for her debut and she played a very important role with a nice pass to set up the last try. Well done.
3 games and 3 wins all with an extra point (minimum 4 tries) so job well done.
As mentioned before - it is not only important how well we do on the pith but also how we do off the pitch. One of the coaches from HKFC came to us and said that we were by far the team with the best supporters. It is of course easy to have a good time when the team is winning but I take this as a huge complement. We have parents brining beverages for other parents to share and the Chandler family arranging cheese, crackers and fruits for all. There is no lack of support when help is needed to pick up stuff at the clubhouse and all just seem to have a good time. We don't only have the best U14G team in Hong Kong we also have the best supporters... THANKS!
