U18 Boys – end of an era

Here we have the 2005 & 2006 age group boys who have spread fear into the opposing teams for years.

They dominated Youth rugby winning virtually all games in the U13 & U14 & U16 categories, as a combined team and as individual age groups.

The last 15s game is over, and many of the boys will be heading to new horizons, bringing the Sandy Bay spirit with them.
And there is a Sandy Bay spirit. Not only are they a very strong team on the field, they are also a Team. The “Esprit de Corps”, mutual respect, comradeship, and working together has been truly amazing.

Covid and a disappointing last season, in great part due to the very large number of injuries, has put a slight crimp on an otherwise distinguished career on the field, but has not removed the edge to their solidarity and friendship.

Thanks must also go to Cam Adams, Billy Brant, Dean Rossow, S’bura Sithole, Kaiwan Turel, and not forgetting Mark Tsang for being behind the boys.
