Its been a phenomenal season for this U9-10 Girls group under the guidance of Head Coach Gil Schorr. A battling cup win in Singapore set the stage for the season, followed by tier 1 and tier 2 cup wins at the Discovery Bay beach 5s. The season culminated in a sweeping performance at the All Girls International tournament with another cup win after a close semi final against Valley. The U9s played their best rugby to close the season 3rd in the Tier 3 comp (W2 D1 L1).

One of my personal highlights is the strength in the HKU2 squad with many of the players challenging HKU1 for spots in the team.

All credit to this group of girls that have got stronger every week, worked hard for each other and been a pleasure to coach/watch as they grow into strong female leaders/role models. And a testament to all the coaches for instilling a tireless work ethic into the group.

The progression from the U9 girls coming through has us all excited and we look forward to seeing what these teams can achieve in the future.
